Whats your point... His death drove romeo to his end basically. If not for mercutios death romeo and juliet could have been happy. Hes an amazing character even though he died.

Yeah but even in death his characters influence drove the play... There is a reason there are no small parts in plays and thats because they all drive the play... Even if some of them can be cut.
