Yeah...There's a huge population problem over in China...And they honour sons above daughters. I read an article about it. It was really interesting but gut-wrenching

no...they portrayed the terrorists networks as terrorists...all the muslims on the television and so forth are usually seen as invaders and negative influence...but wot really upset me is tha' on the tv i heard tha' kit kat chocolate had to 'ave a 'halah seal of approvel'....wtf is wiv tha'...cause in the ingredients in the kitkat 'ave sumfing called hallah or sumfing and now the need a muslim seal of approvel on our australian food... wot do you think rash since your muslim? are you wiv it or against it or neither? The halal seal is just to assure us Muslims that there's nothing that uh, can't be eaten by Muslims. You know, religious reasons and stuff like that. But what is hallah anyway? So anyway the halal sign really only matters to us Muslims. There should be nothing preventing other people from enjoying their kit kat bars. And to answer your question as to whether I'm with it or against it, I don't know the full story over there so I can't really say, lest I strike a nerve or something. But when it comes to getting a stamp that all it does is increases a product's buyers; and thus the company's revenues, then there should be no problem.

I seriously don't give a stuff about a logo on the wrapper. Do we eat the wrapper? Noooo! I love Kit Kats, and that symbol isn't gonna stop me eating them. One of my best friends is Muslim, and she doesn't care either

Well religion is a touchy subject. But kit kats get melty if you leave them out too long, so best not touch them then. Too bad they're not like M&M's, 'melt in your mouth', that whole sort of thing....
...sorry, deviated back there.

Yeah...Religion is a touchy subject. I avoid it, unless I'm asking questions about a person's beliefs. Haha. Kit Kats are well nice though

(( I love those KitKat cookie doughs.... droool.)) I think I agree with Rash, it shouldn't matter solus.... Just like some things have to have the Heartsmart tick or whatever, a religious symbol isn't much different, it's just a seal of approval, it won't make anyone STOP eating it unless they're really anal about the wrapper or something. And about the thing about guys being valued more than girls.... even I think it's horrid sometimes. I think we're both equal. But maybe that comes from me being anti-homophobia, gay guys are discriminated against even more than women in some places.... In the USA it's acceptable to be female. It's still not 100% acceptable for a guy to kiss another guy.....

I hate descrimination. Period! Seriously. I do! If you're going to descriminate against a person because you can, I think you're a predjudiced asshole. But if you're doing it because you don't properly understand (Ignorance much!?!) then fair enough
