~ Three slow months have since passed, after Murdoc's tragic death. The cool, crisp breeze and the scent of spring lingered the otherwise warm air. An enlightening aura surrounded the usually foggy, grey and dull county. There was an immediate sense of burden being lifted from your shoulders. It felt fresh and alluring, and it felt cleansing.
Joseph clutched onto the flowers in his hand; they were simple, bright yellow daisies wrapped with a white wrapper and pink ribbon. He stood at the door, shuffling his feet on the hallway carpet. He pressed down the button once more, and the chimes rang through his ears. He huffed. Since they arrived in the U.K, things got a little busy concerning Murdoc's will and his leeching, scum-sucking lawyers, his relatives which somehow heard of the news and decided to partake and "mourn" his loss by sharing his belongings. There was also a question of removing most of his belongings and giving them out to charity and such. Joseph was also having a hell of a time trying to cope with the changes with his work and housing. ~
I don't think she's here. Maybe I should just leave. She might be busy..
~ Joseph was having a hard time bottling in his feelings for Melissa. Murdoc's death, to him, was a sign; It was his turn to step in and take over. However, he was rejected several times. She was simply not ready for another relationship. As insensitive as it seemed, Joseph found this to be his only opportunity to finally get to her heart, without anyone else in the way.~
