I still dont understand though, I had my reasons for doing so much expectiong for things to move on without me, the onyl time I think about myself is my good looks (oh sod XD ) but that's about it....never really felt right when someone pays attention to me...

Look, it's fine to want to do something without asking for anything in return, but let's face it, we're all human here. You can't expect yourself to be holy and Godly and such. It's not natural. We need appraisal. Because the only reason why most people do good things is so they'd be credited. Its so they'd gain something in return. Some people don't know that they're doing that, and most of it really is, unintentional.
Basically, it's a let down to have nothing in return, once you've done something good. Sometimes, that person deserves it, but in this case, that person doesn't.
You don't deserve to be let down.
