It's not romantic. It is an insightful, reflective poem that contemplates with life's falsehood and pretentious inequity that befalls society. Mirror represents the truth, and brutal honesty that it reflects upon us. It's loyalty towards us. It's blatant and brutal honesty. A complete contradiction of that of the outside world. The reflections of the lake, the shimmers of the moon like, making us appear different. It's all lies. False. Dishonest. In the end, only a mirror can tell us the truth.

Is it a school poem that you guys have to dissect, like 'The Crow' or something like that?
It's an eerily...... impersonal poem isn't it. The brutal truth.

Dissect. XD Yeap. 8) I loved it. We had 30 poems to choose from I chose that one. 8O Because I didn't understand it at first, then I started looking at it deeper and deconstructed it.

Not really, actually. I just make it sound more complicating than it needs to be. xD
It's for normal English. 8)

I wish we had cooler poems. But they're pretty easy to understand. We don't get to choose our poems. *pouts*

Ummm..... shakespeare's sonnet 18? It was about his love for his lover. How she is so beautiful and her beauty will last forever.

Yeah, he said that her beauty will last forever. Funny thing is that his wife's name is Anne Hathaway. So it means that she lives on through the actress, Anne Hathaway.
