~ Time passes by, slowly, each minute feeling longer than the last. The surgery was a success at least, but he was still in need of intensive care. He lays on the bed, once again, in terrible pain, but at least he was unconscious. An oxygen mask was placed over him and he was being fed morphine and aspirin, keeping the pain at bay. ~
*Doctor walks up to Lissachoa* Doctor: The surgery was a success.

Doctor: He needs his rest, for now. But you're welcome to leave some flowers and gifts with our nurse. She'll hand it to him once he's awake. Now, I need to talk to you about the minor complications from the surgery..

Doctor: There has been some damage in the extending heart tissue, and Cardiogenic shock. Cardiogenic shock is a disease state where the heart is damaged enough that it is unable to supply sufficient blood to the body. That could possibly cause a domino effect, that could damage the brain, liver and kidney. There are treatments that could reverse the effect. However, 80% of cardiogenic shock are fatal.. even with treatment.

Doctor: We wouldn't know that for sure. The patient is currently unconscious, so we can't ask whether he wants to continue with the treatment or not. In my opinion, he should go for the treatment. There is a chance of survival.
