~ All alone. Yet again. He's been left alone so many times he might just get someone to write a song about it. He flips through the channels on the tube. Nothing but complete rubbish. Boorish, crude and idiotic. Switching it off, he leans back against the soft pillow, and peeked at the side. A white rose. Seems sort of morbid and solemn to be a get-well-soon gift. Or romantic. Romantic? That's a bit far-fetched, he thought. Whatever. Just lay back and relax for a moment. ~
