You are supposed to cancel it too along with your IC. But my aunt said its troublesome. So there's really no point in doing it because you have to go through many procedures and stuff like sumpah.

Ammy: Aiyo~! The citizenship comes automatically to me because I was born there. But once I turn 18 I lose it. Thus, I have to apply for it again. u: Which I won't do since I still want to keep my Malaysian one.

But you can't be an Australian citizen and keep a malaysian passport, right? Malaysia doesn't allow it. You only get to keep one.
