Well, he was already murdering people when he was teen. He only perfected the art of killing later when he's older. But he seems like a pretty cool guy.

Joe: Oh, this is interesting. The character was inspired by a serial killer by the name of Edward Kemper III. At around 15 years of age, he shot both his grandparents and was institutionalised to receive psychiatric treatment. Under recommendation of his two psychiatrists, he was released just around 5 years later, only to start killing again about 4 months later. Three women, one a 15 year old. Around the same period, two court appointed psychiatrists stated he made an excellent response to years of treatment. Later, he confessed to the brutal murders of eight women, five of whom he had butchered since his psychiatric evaluation, one of whom was his mother. In 1988, a prison psychologist, who had been treating him for 8 years found him suitable for release, but the parole board immediately rejected it.

That sounds like the guy from Halloween who started murdering people at a young age. He was sent to a mental instutition as well but I can't really remember how many people he killed.

Joe: Might be based on the same guy. Anyway, the point is, these people could be perceived as normal, but it might just be a well mended camouflage. Quote, " You see a person, you think you know them, but the truth is, you know nothing." God, I love that movie. It's a classic. ((i forgot what it's called.))

I never saw them as normal really. Normal people are so different from them, myself and you as well. Mind you, I may seem normal at times, but I'm not.

Joe: It's really a matter of what your definition of normality is. There's this fine line endeavoured by society that pin-points what is classified as sane and insane. A very fine line. So, you could say that often, sanity and insanity is misinterpreted. Like Hannibal Lecter. He's a gentleman, sophisticated, charming, witty, and intelligent. At first glance you wouldn't even realise he was a cannibal, not at all. You wouldn't classify him as insane at all. In fact you could say he's "normal". No real definition of normality. It's a conundrum, really.
