I personally like beforehand for Murdoc and Russel, but Noods and 2D are cooler in Demon Days. ;D

Wheres the mudsdoll option!.. seeing as i cant vote for myself, ill vote for 2D after, seeing as i had never heard of gorillaz before demon days xD

Uhmm well I do prefer the Phase 2 versions of the Gorillaz members because they seem to have grown up a bit and they've developed a deeper personality, and really marked themselves as individuals. Where-else the Phase1 Gorillaz members seem to have a more childish appearance and made itself stand out only because they're cartoons. There was nothing really interesting about them at that time. They were treated as a gimmick yeah..

Yes. It's symbolic. It signals a shift of music style for them through imagery. They've basically matured over the years from the bouncy colourful cartoons they were to the dark maniacally geniuses of music that they are right now..
